Please find below my reference list for my PowerPoint Presentation on Implications for Teaching EAL/D learners in the mainstream classroom. There are some fantastic resources that you can tap into for working with EAL/D students. The EAL/D Developmental continuum is a great starting place for teachers who are not sure where to begin or how to cater for students who are learning English. Here is the link to the page on the Victorian Department of Education website. There are examples of student's work as well as lots of ideas for teaching and learning at the different stages of learning English. There is also guidance for working with students who are newly arrived or refugee students.
